Early in 1980, Dr. Bare, an Ordained Bishop in the Church of God, received his calling into ministry. In the past 44 years, he and Reba have served as Pastor to 8 churches besides Brevard Church of God. They were appointed the first time to Brevard Church of God on September 1, 1990. Thirty years and two months later, they were appointed to Brevard Church of God on November 3, 2020.

His wife, Reba, has been by his side in life for 47 years. Over the years, through much prayer and fasting, they have developed a style of ministry. They have two sons, Jason, married to Kelli, and Phillip, married to Patricia. They have five grandchildren. 

Faith Stamey has been blessed with 25 years of marriage to her husband, Chris, and the joy of raising two wonderful children, Logan and Kathryn. Growing up in the Church of God, Faith developed a deep love for God that has shaped her life and her calling. She finds great joy in teaching and mentoring teens, helping them explore their faith, navigate life’s challenges, and grow closer to Christ. Faith also works as a teacher assistant at Brevard High School and is completing her Bachelor of Science in Elementary and Special Education. Her heart is especially drawn to children with special needs, and she is passionate about creating a loving, supportive, and Christ-centered environment where every student can feel seen, valued, and encouraged to thrive.
